Nicholas Brendon, best known for his role as Xander Harris in the cult 1990s TV series *Buffy the Vampire Slayer*, has died at the age of 54, his brother Kelly Donovan confirmed on Saturday.
Donovan did not provide further details about the cause of Brendon’s death but expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support from fans and colleagues. “Thank you for the love you have shown our family during this difficult time,” he wrote in a statement posted on social media.
